Kevin the Carrot has become a household name in Uk since he popped up in the Christmas adverts for Aldi.
I have cut out the shape in clay with a cutter and then carefully dried and biscuit fired him. The next step is painting all the cute details with underglaze. It is then fired to a high temperature of 1200 degrees in my kiln and finally strung on a Christmas Ribbon.
Whether he is displayed on a Christmas tree, or given as a thoughtful gift, this handcrafted ornament is sure to become a treasured keepsake for years to come. He can be used as an all seasons decoration so why put him away till next year!
