I have cut out the shape in clay with a cutter, printed the message Merry Christmas or Nadolig Llawen (Welsh) and then carefully dried and biscuit fired him. The next step is painting all the cute details with underglaze. It is then fired to a high temperature of 1200 degrees in my kiln and finally strung on wire with vintage buttons from my collection.
Whether he is displayed on a Christmas tree, or given as a thoughtful gift, this handcrafted ornament is sure to become a treasured keepsake for years to come.
You will receive him in a Miss Marple Makes gift box.
