This cute little Welsh Dragon Decoration is a quirky design based on the traditional and Iconic image of a Dragon .The Welsh Dragon, or Y Ddraig Goch, is the famous red dragon on the national flag of Wales. Rooted in ancient Celtic folklore, the most famous tale tells of a fierce battle between a native red dragon and an invading white dragon, which historically symbolized the Welsh people's fight against Anglo-Saxon invaders.

It has been cut out of the clay with a cutter.
I then dry the shape flat and biscuit fire. The next stage is painting her with underglaze and then glaze firing to a high temperature of 1200 degrees in my kiln.
A tasteful ribbon has been added to show her off as a decoration.
