I have cut out the shape in clay with a cookie cutter and then carefully dried and biscuit fired it. The next step is painting all the cute details with underglaze. It is then fired to a high temperature of 1200 degrees in my kiln and finally strung on wire with vintage buttons chosen from my collection.I have then attached a Christmas cord for hanging.
Whether displayed on a Christmas tree, or given as a thoughtful gift, this handcrafted ornament is sure to become a treasured keepsake for years to come.
